These past weeks I've been working in my new home studio! Yay!
It's set-up a lot like the studio in the store front in Shelby Township.
My cutting table is situated under the only window in the room. It looks out into the backyard so I can keep an eye on the baseball games (and coinciding arguments) that the kids play all summer. I can also hear the objections from the four small doggies next door who are not baseball fans from what I've witnessed thus far. Hoping they grow to like or at least tolerate the game in the coming months.
Anyway, I was able to complete a few orders for some VERY patient customers. Thank you...you know who you are. :) Also I've been working on some new product for inventory.

I'm looking forward to cutting into this stack of fabric. Very inspired by some of these prints.
I've also been playing around with pocket applique.
[Another messenger bag with a pretty pocket is currently at Yellow Door...which leads me to my next paragraph.]
Yesterday, I added a few items to the Yellow Door booth in Berkley. Including new Messenger Bags and two Half Aprons. Last week I added a Craft Apron, Zipper Pouches and new Key FOBS.

[Yellow Door booth...sorry it's a little blurry...too much coffee I guess:) ]
IN OTHER NEWS:
I wallpapered my new studio closet. Isn't this cute paper?
So I did the lazy thing and covered it all up with wallpaper. Good to have it off the list.Baseball for two boys started a couple of weeks ago. My oldest is beginning his first year in the majors and my 7 year old is beginning his first year in pitching machine. And we begin the never ending taxi service to and from practices five times a week. The younger two are excited for baseball season because it usually means they get to play at school parks five times a week.
